The White Horse Inn has retained its role as a village pub, with Dominoes, Pool and Petanque teams, while becoming well known for serving excellent draught and Cask products and introducing a new menu which appeals to customers from an extensive geographical area. Families are welcome together with dog owners and their pets - The White Horse Inn has become a popular meeting point for walkers exploring the delights of Rutland.
Our menu focuses on quality homemade meals and light bites. We always have specials on offer, that change regularly, together with old favourites. The menu is as flexible as you want it to be - if you want to order a dish that is not listed, please ask - if we've got it in stock, it will be a pleasure to cook it for you.
Our Steak Night every Thursday is proving extremely popular, with an 8oz Rump Steak, served with all the trimmings for £8.50.
Every Friday brings Pizza Night, where you can order one of our homemade 12" pizzas with two toppings, served with a drink (including all draught beers or a 175ml of House Wine) for just £9.95.
On a Sunday, we serve a quality Roast Dinner from 12.00-3.00pm, for which booking is advisable.
Our restaurant is also available for use as a function room, and is often hired out for private parties and meetings or conferences.
